Karadayi and
Kaala Paisa Pyar hooked its viewers to their televisons and proved to be the
biggest successes of Turkey to date. Karadayi came to Pakistan and left the
viewers in tears of joy after its 1st season which aired on Urdu1.
The most handsome Mahir and the mesmerizing beauty Feride looted the hearts of
many in Pakistan. As fate was still deciding the 2nd season of
Karadayi, the producers commenced the 1st season of Kaala Paisa Pyar
which is with no doubt similar to the all famous Karadayi.
1.
Same Writers
Do
you know that the writers who penned the story of these two dramas are the same?
Yes they are, Eylem Canbolat and Sema Ergenekon. Karadayi won all the awards in
all nominations whether it is for The Best Direction, The Best Scenario, The
Best Period Drama, or any other individual award. The awards winning story of
Karadayi led them to inscribe a story quite similar to it.
2.
The Male Protagonists
Doesn’t
Omer remind you of “The Uncle in Black”? Every time Omer fights a person it
seems as if he’s been trained by our super strong Mahir. We see the same
aggressiveness in his attitude as well. Mahir could fight anyone who spoke
nasty about his father and Omer following Mahir’s footsteps has already had two
fights in just 7 episodes. The male protagonists
of both the dramas have a strong obsession with the color black. It seems to be
compulsory. The Turkish name of Kaala Paisa Pyar is Kara Para Ask. KARAdayi and
KARA Para Ask. Similar again? Just before the engagements the fate plays a
terrible game with our poor heroes, but always for the good.
3.
The Villains
What villainous
aspects do the writers feel in the villains being short in height against our
female protagonists? No matter how serious Karadayi was, we still chuckle when
it reminds us of Turgut’s love for our 6 feet tall Feride. The most trusted
person of our sponge hearted heroin turns out to be a villain. Is that even
fair to the goddess of beauty? One more similarity that our villains share is
their name initials. LOL. Coincidences I tell you.
The Karadayi story was so life like but one thing it lacked was genetic relatedness in close relations. Usman did not look like Necdet even an inch but Metin from Kaala Paisa Pyar does. Genes don't lie. Baldness is what these two have in common.

4. İlkin Tüfekçi
How can we talk
about the duo without the mention of our lovely Bahar? She played the role of
Feride's assistant and later her best friend in Karadayi and now in Kaala Paisa
Pyar we see her again on the screen as the only close friend of Omer. Wasn't it
Bahar who supported Feride when everyone turned against her? History is
repeating itself again. In Episode 6, after the face breaking fight between Omer
and Adeel, Pelin seems inclined to support Omer.
We hope her role doesn't end in Kaala Paisa Pyar as it did in Karadayi.

5.
Finally,
The Plot
In both the duos, the protagonists are brought together to work on a
common murder case which involves their loved ones. The scenario of Kaala Paisa
Pyar is similar to that of Karadayi in which a career oriented girl loses her
dearest. Without knowing she is helping the underworld. Her close relation
turns out to be evil. Now if we look at the male protagonist, the man has to
prove the innocence of his beloved.
Because
of the similarities, Kaala Paisa Pyar stands as good news for the fans of
Karadayi for they can now enjoy Kaala Paisa Pyar till Karadayi season 2 is yet
to be decided; Every Monday to Friday at 10 pm on Urdu1.
