Looking Beyond Borders

Wouldn’t it sound funny if I say all I want in life is a motorbike, a camera, and a desperate soul ready
to hit the road? To be honest to me, I actually want this, rolling down the accelerators and riding about this world in solitary. Not few but most of us dream of getting arrested by the love of nature and never return back to our nutshells. We all wish to make memories, some in our honeycombs, and others all over the world. No one can be kept in a nutshell for way too long. For an instance imagine yourself pedal to the metal and sail so close to the wind, with a distance of just an inch to your life. Who would ever home stretch with so many thrills in life? It may sound funny to you now but to me, it would be a lifetime adventure, fulfilled only by a camera, motorbike, and a soul ready to hit the road.

Most of us will never see the unwanted people even if we had million of dollars in our bank account or
something less than that in our pocket. We earn a penny with every breath in our jobs and with every
the breath we lose the charisma of nature. Instead of missing the boat, an opportunity lies in grabbing it and reaching the place where we are needed. There’s a purpose behind our existence in this world but all our life we sit in a corner and wait for it to reach us instead of heading out ourselves. The opportunities once missed are never the less like withering on the vine. Who would have then time for those bustling relatives at home or for aunts ready to twist and turn your cheeks when you meet them.

Tourists are the most optimistic people; that’s my own perception. They examine the beauty escaping
the hills lying on the feet of God. They are not the ones who miss the boat unlike us they know their
time is precious than even diamonds. Every tik and every tok burn their ears when they are in a corner of their honeycombs. I don’t sing praises of them but to them being successful in life doesn’t mean earning papers, but it is to reach the place where they are called.
Before we die, we most probably would not be able to see the place where Marco Polo is buried, where St. Thomas preached, where the White brothers flew their first flight. Most curious souls would want to know what happens when you cross the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle, feel the horror of the place and come back with discoveries and experiences. Tourists experience it all and have a motive to live and spread their experiences all over the place.

No sunset or sun dawn is ever the same. You cannot be in different places at one time unless you are Chris Angel, but why should we miss the same sunset which will never look the same? After your first semester, you get so exhausted that you feel like leaving this bandwagon clearing the deck off, and gearing to the limit. Every other person you meet is trafficked in putting the carriage before the horse and in re-inventing wheels which will cost him nothing but time. No one will care if you sail through the beaten path and for an instance become a Sunday driver? A sunset once missed never comes back.

"No one realizes when the ship sails."

If time never slams on the brakes then why do we test drive it on
our dreams? If we get our feet itchy, empty our in-basket and look at this world as borderless, then we would be in the middle instead of being in a corner with no hopes of life.

  1. Completely agree. Live in the moment. Stop to smell the roses.

  2. Really good approach but there is not much time to appreciate beauty sabrina. We all live in a busy world

    1. Then it's high time we make sometime for mother nature, too. We may be very much indulged in our lives but after 10-20 years we would regret all that we lost in search of wealth. Memories are to be built not in the nutshells but outside in our gardens.
