Why should teachers be paid more!

Teachers who work their guts out everyday in class and thereafter are paid nothing but a joke int he name of salary every month. This is, I believe, a topic which needs to be addressed and stressed upon. It should also be brought into consideration and of course provided a solution of.

Itsaddens my weary heart when i see memes as such circulating on Facebook and elsewhere. Teaching, the highest profession in terms of dignity is most unfortunately one of the least paid professions, here in Pakistan. It is beginning to lose its impact which needs to prevail in the minds of people. This loss in its impact is substantially because of the earning it pays. I believe there are a certain most important aspects if this profession which needs to be considered when deciding on the pay scale of the profession.

One of the key factors is the commitment and dedication by which teachers prove themselves everyday. It is not at all easy to control a class of great strength on own by a teacher. With 100 percent results to be achieved, a teacher showcases her full potential and strives to achieve the best possible results No mistake is to be made during the whole process. The passion always remains by which the work ends. 

Another factor is the exemplary patience a teacher motivates herself and takes her students to the achieving path. Dealing with everyone peacefully and showing no signs of exhaustion at the end of the day can only be done by a teacher who is passionate about her profession. They listen to numerous blends of ideas and deal with all the kind of emotions throughout their life. Teachers are truly heroes for no one else can be this patient even when students whom they teach still mess up, things fail to work and seem to be upside-down.

Teachers also instill a sense on responsibility in their students. This responsibility is not always for studies but for everything other than that as well, which may include responsibility towards the country and towards their life itself. A seed once planted goes a long while. 

In conclusion, I believe, that the teaching profession should not be degraded every now and then. The reason is in spite of the effort, patience and instillation the payscale of teachers being low.
